Welcome to the Fetal Surveillance Education Program

Thank you for visiting the Fetal Surveillance Education Program website.

The Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP) strives to deliver excellence in fetal surveillance/CTG education.

Our standardised and comprehensive suite of educational products is targeted to improve professional understanding and confidence in fetal surveillance, with the aim of reducing the risk of adverse perinatal outcomes.

Our face-to-face and multidisciplinary sessions are delivered throughout Australia and New Zealand and are appropriate for all professionals involved in intrapartum and antenatal care.

Our book, Fetal Surveillance: a practical guide and our online programs (OFSEP) support the face to face programs and our assessment tool provides a valid and reliable assessment of fetal surveillance knowledge and associated skills.

The FSEP is a highly relevant risk management strategy for all Australian and New Zealand hospitals.

The program is supported by RANZCOG and incorporates the RANZCOG Intrapartum Fetal Surveillance Clinical Guidelines.
